» Major New Features

• New "Smart Agenda" Today View slot enables you to create Tasks, Meetings, and Memos on-the-fly, and is capable of pre-populating key fields of a new activity based on the user input. This same slot also integrates on-the-fly Power Search so you can instantly (and conveniently) look up any Personal Information Manager (PIM)-related data right from the Today View.

   

• Contact List: introduced a flag icon indicator appearing next contacts indicating an upcoming event, which makes it easy to recognize, at-a-glance, the person on the Contacts list associated with a particular activity.

   

• New editable "Quick Text" functionality is now included in all PIM edit dialogs, enabling quick entry of common words and phrases.

   

• Added Auto-List Creation capability to all Note fields, providing the ability to immediately create a bulleted or numbered list. It also enables quick Agenda Walkthrough creation.

   

• Added the ability to assign an icon to a Contacts and display it in related areas throughout the application.

   

• Added the ability to fully edit previously saved Meeting and Task templates.

   

• Power Search (All Types): added auto-complete functionality that leverages previous searches to expedite the process.

   

• Added the ability to customize each over-the-air update type independently, which is a much more efficient approach than having the setting being global for all items. Also added a new button to quickly disable all Auto Updates.

   

• Added the capability to skip selected weekdays in the rollover sequence for fine-grained control over the schedule.

   

• Launch & Buttons: Added a "Loop Views" option to cycle the different Views within a given mode.

   

• Added the option to keep the original record when converting an item to a different type.

   

• Added the ability to filter Trips (and Trip items), Projects, Journals and Alarms in all Views, allowing for a better control over how the information is displayed.

   

» Notable New Features and Improvements

• Views that show the current time now update immediately upon device wake up if Agendus was active when the device went to "sleep mode."
• All Views: Added the indicator icon when File System attachments are present on a record.
• All Views: Made the alarm indicator icon active, enabling the user to quickly jump to the Alarm settings for a particular event without having to open it in edit mode.
• Today View: Weather and Stock Quotes show Last Updated date & time in the top portion of the details dialog.
• Today View: Resolved stability issue when scrolling beyond last entry in Alarm slot when 6 items are set to show.
• Today View: Restored ability to immediate access to a Meeting’s Alarm settings via the Today View alarm slot.
• Calendar Views: Restored the ability to apply "Effects" to Meetings via the context menu.
• Split View: Improved behavior when dragging a Meeting to the Task area and vice versa to better meet user expectations.
• List View Standard: Multiple date selection is now possible for this View.
• Week Block View: Corrected the wrong instance of a repeat Meeting being edited when attempting to edit a future instance from this View.
• Week Grid Views: Corrected Drag & Drop of the "current" instance of a repeat event, copying instead of moving, and also making it impossible to delete the old instance.
• Week and Month Views: Changed upper date header from a 2-digit year to a 4-digit year.
• Month Views: Added ability to tap on Week numbers to jump to that Week (excludes Month View Expanded Mode)
• Journal View: Now when tapping on an individual entry in the Journal View, the focus is placed at the end of that particular entry.
• For Contacts, Tasks and Memos, when grouped, there is now a "Collapse All" and "Expand All" option in the grouping drop list.
• Contact Views: Addressed a stability issue when using tap/hold on either of the first two Contacts in the list.
• Contact Views: Using space bar on keyboard-equipped devices to invoke "New" pop-up is now disabled if text is present in the search field in order to enable entering a space in search string.
• Contact Compact View: Added 'None' option in the "Number to show" column, visible when in Compact mode.
• Contact list: Corrected the inability to select numbers/emails with D-Pad when photos were showing.
• Contact Views: Added a new option to only show Contacts with photos.
• Contact & Memo Views: Changed the behavior of D-Pad focus in lookup field so that if text is already present, upon selection > D-Pad/center press the text is all selected to allow easy clearing.
• Contact Card View: Weather button now shows a pop-up if multiple addresses are present providing an easy way to select which one is desired.
• Memo Views: Added the ability to group Memos by various properties

• Added a new option to prompt the user upon completion of a Task, to state the a completion date.
• Corrected an issue with Launch & Buttons where if using "Cycle Views" and Contacts were part of this cycle, once the Contact list appeared, the names would be invisible, with only the numbers showing.
• Improved the background color on selected view bitmaps at Launch & Buttons to follow the theme rather than always remain black.
• Added the ability to set the default 'Show Time As' value for Meetings at Preferences > Meetings > Defaults.
• Reorganized the Contact preferences panel to optimize space.
• Redesigned the "Completion" panel in Task Preferences to optimize screen space.
• Added 2 Days, 5 Days, 1 Week, 2 Weeks, 3 Weeks as additional snooze options for alarms both on the alarm dialog and in Alarm Preferences

• Added the ability to "lock" Meetings/Tasks to prevent accidental deletion during purging process.
• Contact Anniversaries: Added an option that provides the ability to create a new "Alarm Only" entry when an Anniversary is added to a Contact.
• PIM Linking: Added bi-directional support so that a linked PIM record appears on the both records, rather than only the one from which it was linked.
• On devices that come with Google Maps installed to ROM, that had been updated by the user to a more current version, addressed issue where the ROM version was being used.
• Alarm Only dialog: Improved the D-Pad focus placement to be on the Snooze button after selecting a custom snooze time.
• Alarm Only events: Implemented numerous improvements to the layout of the Alarm edit dialog.
• Card Views: Corrected an issue where the event's description on the card would only show the first line in bold, with the other wrapped lines in non-bold when a long description was present.
• Purging: Changed the name of the options in this dialog to be more clear as to the action being performed.
• Memos: Corrected a problem with Agenda Walkthrough on Memos when checking/unchecking a box in the lower portion of a memo after having scrolled the card actually modifying the check box of one of the items in the upper portion
• Addressed a stability issue when using the "Map" button on the Card View of a Memo when a Contact with an address was associated with a Memo
• Corrected a corruption in the date display on a linked record assuming the same date as the record from which it is linked when accessed from the card of the original
• Corrected an issue causing Memos linked to a Project being deleted despite having selected not to delete associated records upon project deletion.
• Improved D-Pad navigation in the Number-To-Dial dialog which appears for contact with multiple numbers.
• Templates: When editing a Template it is now possible to modify many of its properties, rather than only its name.
• Templates: When saving a Template for an item which contains repeat end dates or rollover end dates, these end dates are removed to prevent problems in future use of the Template
• Added the ability to return to Agendus from the browser when pressing the home hard button / virtual graffiti icon after having launched a Website from within Agendus.
• PowerSearch Local: Added 'Toggle All' check box to easily select/deselect all modules to search.
• Task Alarms: Added the ability to set the Alarm in 'x' minutes/hours
• Task/Calls: On the Alarm edit dialog for Tasks/Calls it now shows the current date/time upon first entering the dialog.
• When duplicating an item that has linked PIM items or linked file system items, user is now prompted to also include such links on the new item
• Meeting Attendees: Corrected the inability to tap or D-Pad on the status check box on 4th visible attendees in the Edit dialog
• Projects: Added an additional filter in the Quick Options to toggle showing "Completed/Cancelled items.
• Corrected stability issue in project related entries when one of their Tasks was set to Convert to Meeting after completion.
• Extended the "Dial Contact" sub menu to appear also on PIM items with primary contacts present.
• Trip/Project association is now transferred to the new item when converting to a different type.
• Meetings: Added a Delete option on the attendees tab in Agendus Professional, as it was previously only available in the Premier Edition.
• Log/Add to Journal: The record type and status change (Complete/Canceled) is now stamped on Journal entry.
• Added 'View Options' (same as is seen when tapping on screwdriver in toolbar) to the main menu drop-downs for additional accessibility.
• Rollover End Dates: Corrected the default rollover end date always being one week from Today's date rather than from the date of the event.
• Tasks/Calls: Added a user prompt when requiring a due date if trying to create an undated Rollover Task, as they require a due date in order to Rollover.
• All Notes dialogs: Changed font picker from four individual buttons to be one button with a pop-up selector instead.
• Contact History: Corrected emails not appearing in Contact History if the sender defined their email address in ALL CAPS.
• Toolbar: Corrected Task and Contact cluster pop-ups not having focus on active mode like in other views.
• View History: Corrected the Journal View label not appearing in View history pop-up (tap/hold on history button).
• Corrected problem with attendee category filtering logic, also affecting the main Contact View.
• Corrected the Phone dialer not being available in Preferences > Programs on GSM (AT&T) Centros.
• Resolved a stability issue occurring when attempting to open a Rollover Task in card mode.
• Flights: Corrected the flight number on a Flight Card view not appearing in the German.
